Dell Wyse Management Suite could allow a remote authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by improper validation of user requests by the Device API component. An attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request containing “dot dot” sequences (/../) to read arbitrary files on the system.
CVE-2022-29096 CVSS:6.1
Dell Wyse Management Suite is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the saveGroupConfigurations page. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim’s Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim’s cookie-based authentication credentials.
