Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper access control in com.trendmicro.AFM.HelperTool. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
