About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure and server systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, networking, and server-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux-based servers.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and updates.
- Management of Fortinet, Security surveillance and Access controls.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network and server support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience (2–4 years) in IT support with a focus on network and server troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic Linux server administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
