Analysis Summary

CVE-2021-20050 

SonicWall SMA100 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper access control. By sending a specially-crafted request to the management APIs, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain configuration meta-data, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.

CVE-2021-20049 

SonicWall SMA100 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by an observable response discrepancy in the password change API. By sending numerous requests, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform username enumeration, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
